Grandparents' Day fun!

Posted Date: 11/25/25 (05:03 PM)

Dear Lancaster Families,

We had a very memorable Grandparents’ Day today! Thank you to our custodian, Mr. Ramsdell, who distributed so many folding chairs throughout the school. Our front office staff had their first Grandparents’ Day experience on the planning side. Ms. Frost, Mrs. George, and Ms. Denise stepped up in a big way! Finally, Mrs. Sawyer greeted our visitors in her turkey best! Despite the large crowds, all the grandparents & guests seemed to genuinely enjoy themselves.

I had two follow ups to my last ParentSquare about changes in our dismissal plans.

  • If your child doesn’t usually ride the bus, and you’d like them to start riding the bus… Contact Nicole Kelsey at the SAU office. She can be reached at nicole.kelsey@sau57.org or (603) 893-7040 x5. It takes a couple days for your child to be added to the route, so please consider that in your planning

  • We will be doing a walk-through practice with all students on the Monday we return. Students will have time to practice how to line up in their new spots and where they should exit at the end of the day Monday. I’m confident that after a few days of this new procedure, it will become routine for all of us. Thank you for understanding the changes that are needed for student safety.

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
