Dear Lancaster Families,

Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 25th due to Memorial Day. A large woven planter overflows with vibrant green grass, yellow petunias, and purple flowers.

Thank you to our custodian, Mr. Ramsdell, who always beautifies Lancaster so beautifully!

The Lancaster Focus on Achievement school board presentation on Eureka Math2 went REALLY well! The students in grades 1, 3, & 4 who were filmed presented so naturally, and they were genuinely enthusiastic about math (which is what we always want to see)! Special thanks to Sofia, Ted, Xavier, Colby, and Felicity for sharing their math experiences for the school board video.

We had SO much fun at the Kindergarten in-house “field trip” from Charmingfare Farm animals. Here are a few interactive photos…

We had two assemblies this week:

Chorus Concert, led by Ms. Perrault- They sang skillfully and confidently.
Memorial Day Assembly- SHS Cadets & Band Members, led by Technical Sergeant Taylor Specht. They led us in a solemn and meaningful assembly, recognizing service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country.

Here are a few events coming up in the next week:

4th Grade Strings Concert- Tuesday, May 26th at 5:00-5:30 (students arrive at 4:15 in SHS cafe)
5th Grade Strings Concert- Tuesday, May 26th at 6:30-7:15 (students arrive at 5:45 in SHS chorus room behind stage)

PTA Corner:

Don’t forget Kindness Rock Painting on Wednesday, May 27th from 3:00-4:00 (after school event, parents pick up at 4:00). The RSVP to this is closed now. We still need some volunteers to help make this a great success!
