Move Up Day Monday... Last day is Tuesday (dismissal at 12:00)!

Posted Date: 06/14/26 (02:04 PM)

Dear Lancaster Families,

The 3rd grade strings students from across all five elementary schools serenaded us at the PAC Monday night. Despite learning strings instruments just this year, the students played with enthusiasm & dedication.

We are down to the final days of school! I have lots to share. Please reach out to your child’s teacher or Ms. Frost in the main office if you have any questions.

Young musicians in formal attire hold violins, ready to perform in an orchestra.

Children in an orchestra sit with violins and music stands, ready to play.

Move Up Day- in the afternoon, students will get to visit classrooms in their next grade level! Although students won’t know who their new classroom teacher will be until mid-August, they will get a sneak-peek about what next year might look like.

Count Down to Summer- Shine Bright Day… Students wear bright colors or sunglasses.

Last Day of School- 12:00 Dismissal

Count Down to Summer Spirit Day- Prepare for Next Year … Students wear the color their grade will be next year or wear Lancaster gear.

A table titled 'Grade Level Colors' displays grade levels from Kindergarten to 5th Grade with corresponding color swatches and color names.

This day holds LOTS of excitement!

  • 5th Grade Celebration- 9:15-10:00… assembly with 5th grade parents & siblings to celebrate and award students as they leave Lancaster

  • 5th Grade Breakfast- 10:00-10:45

  • Lunches outside or in the classroom

  • 5th Grade Clap-Out- 11:30-11:45… 5th graders take one last lap of the building, as all students stand in the hallway to clap and cheer. Parents stand on the basketball hardtop to greet them as they come out.

  • Dismissal- 11:55 to bus & walkers, 12:00 for Parent Pick Up

    • Report cards go home in backpacks.

Please be sure to put any dismissal changes in PickUp Patrol. We want to thank you for patience during dismissal, as our small lot gets full very quickly! I'll send out one more ParentSquare as a wrap after school ends, then you'll hear from me again in early August. Enjoy the rest of today!
