Picture Day is Wednesday, September 16th. 

Parents should’ve received a confirmation email from Clix Photo in August. Please check your email for the order form link.

Lancaster Open House- parents only... Wednesday, September 16th

5:30-6:00- grades 3-5

6:15-6:45- grades K-2


This Open House is an important time for teachers to provide parents with an overview of the school year, including information about our curriculum, grading, homework expectations, and classroom routines. This event is for adults only unless you have a young infant. Although it can be challenging, we appreciate you making childcare arrangements.

We’ve successfully made it through our (almost) first full week of school! Here are a few highlights:


  • Teachers have been demonstrating familiar and new learning routines. Kindergarten students met their “Mama Echo” phonics owl puppet, while fifth grade students learned about their responsibility in completing their “Must Do List.” I’m glad that students are eager to soak up all this new learning!

  • Students have been learning about playground expectations, including how to play “jackpot football” and reviewing kickball and gaga ball rules. 


  • Our amazing PTA surprised our teachers and staff with a “pop-up” coffee station. Aroma Joe’s generously donated the coffee, along with some goodies & free drink donations. Chick-fil-A donated their famous “nugget ice,” which was a big hit! We even had a throwback donation from our former PTA President (Lisa Soucy) of her yummy chocolate chip cookies. Thank you to our PTA Board for welcoming teachers back in such style!

  • This upcoming week, students will be celebrating Constitution Week while learning about the Constitution in library classes. Our library staff includes our new Library Media Specialist, Jennifer Toth, and our returning Library Assistant, Jordan Krahn (Ms. J). 


  • Band (5th grade) and strings (grades 3-5) classes start this week. Mrs. Chicarello and Mr. Organek will be orienting students to their new instruments, which is so exciting!


  • As we begin our first full week of school, it’s helpful to continue a consistent routine at home, including an early bedtime on school nights so students are ready for the day. Thank you!

If you need to get a non-urgent message to your child’s teacher in the middle of the school day, parents are welcome to send a ParentSquare message. However, teachers are busy with students, so most likely, the teacher will not be able to respond to your ParentSquare until the end of the school day. If you have an urgent or emergency message for your child’s teacher, please call the main office at (603) 893-7059. Ms. Frost will deliver the message to the teacher right away.

SMILE! Children’s Smile Connection (CSC) is excited to offer a FREE school-based cavity prevention dental program to all children during the 2026 - 2027 school year. With parent/guardian informed consent, children will receive a 15 minute preventive dental care visit conveniently at school.


Informed Consent forms have been sent home with your child. Please review, sign, and return the form to your child’s school by September 18, 2026.

Finally, we will have an Early Release on Wednesday, September 23rd with dismissal at 1:30 PM. These Early Release Days occur 6 times on Wednesdays throughout the school year so our staff can participate in professional development and training opportunities.
